Campers should report health problems, chronic ailments, and continuing medications to your Resident Assistant at check in. Campers needing non-emergency medical attention are taken to Watkins Health Center. Watkins Health Center is on campus and open 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Students requiring emergency medical attention will be taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital. All charges for medical services are the responsibility of the camper and their parent/guardian. See Health Forms and the Health Information handout.

Residence Hall Check-Out
All students must go through formal residence hall checkout - times will be assigned prior to camp and communicated via email. The Resident Assistant will help inspect each room for damage and help collect keys. This also applies to students leaving Camp early for any reason. Rooms should be left in a clean and orderly condition, or charges will apply.
Housing assesses fees for late check out or no check out. Each camper isresponsible for returning his or her room key. Lost keys and/or keys returned after the assigned check-out time will result in a $50.00 charge. There will be a $250 charge if any screen is removed from a dorm window.

Contacting Your Child
Your child will receive a room phone number at registration. Each room is equipped with a telephone outlet, but not a telephone. Plan on bringing a phone to camp to utilize this telephone service. All long-distance calls made by the students from their rooms must be collect or by calling card. Campers will not regularly be in their rooms, at the desk, or in the Camp Office, so plan for the camper to call you. Phone use is restricted after 10:00 pm for the Junior Session and 11:00 pm for the Senior Session. If you wish to leave a message for the message board, the McCollum Hall front desk number is (785) 864-4860.
